What is a doula?

In Greek, Doula means servant. That is what my goal in every birth is. To serve you throughout pregnancy, birth, and beyond. You need to feel empowered and supported throughout the process of labor and birth. Having the right support during your birth can make or break your experience, and everyone has different dreams and desires for their birth. I create a safe space that is personalized to you and how you desire your birth to be.

“If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it.”

Ashley Korff

Ashley is a birth and bereavement doula. She has two fiery daughters, is obsessed with Jesus, and loves a good cup of coffee. She loves reading, gardening, and all things pregnancy and birth.

Ashley has a passion for pregnancy, labor, and birth and making women feel empowered throughout the experience. Having had a traumatic birth herself, her goal is to decrease birth trauma as much as she can and create a safe space for first time moms, previous birth trauma moms, and VBAC mommas! Ashley has a passion for helping mommas achieve their dream birth, and supporting women through whatever birth they want!

Her heart goes out to all of the mommas that have lost or are losing their babies and holds space for mamas in that season of life. She believes all of those mommas need a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, and someone to take care of them through their first or second trimester birth, or any pregnancy loss.
